Ever since she can remember, Dr. Ravi has wanted to pursue a career in the field of dentistry. Not only does like to be creative and work with her hands, but she also feels fulfilled when helping people care for their pearly whites. With nearly two decades of experience, she continues to refine her skills and build strong connections with her patients so she can provide essential dental treatments for maintaining or improving beautiful and healthy smiles.
Dr. Ravi was born in India and studied at dental school over there before coming to the United States and graduating from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine with her Doctor of Dental Medicine. She also earned a Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry—which only about 6 percent of dentists in Canada and the US have accomplished! Furthermore, she regularly seeks continuing education to stay on top of the latest advancements in the field, such as sleep apnea therapy, implant dentistry, and Waterlase technology. She’s also completed numerous workshops with the SPEAR Study Club and is currently a faculty member there.
Whenever she isn’t at the office caring for smiles, Dr. Ravi lives in Andover with her husband and their wonderful three children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and practicing personal growth. She’s also very passionate about cooking healthy meals.

The ideal practice to undergo dental treatment will depend on various things that you find important. This will typically be a combination of factors like location, credentials, hours, safety, cleanliness, insurance, and payments/fees. You should also consider the kinds of services you need or are interested in, such as if you want to improve your teeth with cosmetic dentistry near Seabrook or require dental implants to rebuild your smile. Certain dentists will be better options for certain procedures. Finally, you should look at how your dental team treats their patients. On average, tooth extractions across the United States will generally be priced between $150 and $400. The specific cost of the treatment will also vary based on different factors, including geography and the patient’s dental health. You might even expect additional fees to apply depending on things like the complexity of the tooth extraction itself and if you require sedation or other related services for your procedure. Of course, if you have dental insurance, your dentist and insurer can negotiate the fees between each other. Wisdom tooth extractions will generally be more expensive because of the difficulty of the process.
Remember that dentistry is all about prevention; the more you focus on avoiding future complications, the more affordable your dental care will be. However, if you have dental insurance, then you might expect your coverage to provide you with many benefits to lower your out-of-pocket expenses. Be sure to consult your provider and our team so you can make the most of your plan. For those who aren’t insured, you might consider signing up for CareCredit financing, which can help turn your treatments into low-to-no-interest monthly payments.
You should always first call our dental office if you or a loved one is experiencing a dental emergency. Someone on our team will be able to pencil you in for the earliest appointment. If your situation is more severe, however, such as uncontrollable bleeding or difficulty breathing, then you should call 911 and/or go to your local ER instead. They can manage your symptoms, alleviate your discomfort, and provide antibiotics until you’re able to undergo dental care. At Oceanside Family Dentistry, we offer same-day appointments as well as evening hours on certain days of the week, that way you can get the treatment you need when you need it most.
